Creating as a vocation

 

RG's ongoing search for a new dialogue between the antiquities of the past and our present day is also expressed in the creation of exclusive finishes such as Smoke and Cobalto.

Both were designed by Cristina Bernacchi's Ottomani Design studio which has been working closely with Roberto Giovannini's craftsmen to develop original and refined results.

Thus, Smoke, with its visual depth and uniformity, enhances surfaces and inlays, thus accentuating the peculiarities of the classic style. At the same time, it echoes modernity – computers and work stations - creating an effect of unexpected contrast.

The Cobalto finish uses as a base the colour that promises to be among the most fashionable in 2025, but renders it more interesting and complex thanks to an interplay of subtle red lines and the contrast with a warm and welcoming gold.

So, a vocation for creating that also reveals itself in the invention of colour.
