CLASSICAL AESTHETICS, THE DEMANDS OF MODERN LIVING
Technology and beauty. Classical elegance and user comfort. There is no contradiction: our Art Re-Editions and classical furnishings can effortlessly incorporate the highest levels of technology, creating unique and exceptional living spaces.
In the face of the stereotype that modern functionality is the exclusive domain of minimalism, we aim to create furniture that does not impose a choice.
An example and representation of this approach to classical furnishings is the new Writing Desk, which we previewed at the Salone del Mobile in Milan, a perfect bridge between past and present.
The Writing Desk is a workstation meeting the needs of the contemporary home office: in fact, it integrates the typical features of a desk with those designed for computer work. The USB and power sockets are conveniently positioned on the work surface with a concealed mechanism; the space for wireless smartphone charging is integrated into the beautifully contoured leather desk pad.
On an aesthetic level, the desk is inspired by the Neoclassical style of the end 18th century. It is no coincidence that this was an era in which the aesthetics of the past were revived in the contemporaneity of the time: this is precisely Roberto Giovannini's mission.
The desk is accompanied by an upholstered chair covered in fine leather matching the desk pad. Together, these two pieces provide a pleasant, complete and refined workstation where you can spend your working or leisure time with technology at your fingertips.
