The mirror as a link between magic, dreams and human virtues has been mentioned throughout the centuries by Petrarch and Ariosto, and also by Lewis Carroll with Alice in Wonderland, by Ingmar Bergman in his films, by Tolkien in The Lord of the Rings, by Caravaggio in his Narcissus, by Velasquez with Venus at her Mirror, and who can forget the wicked Queen Grimhilde from Snow White and her famous line: "Mirror, mirror on the wall..."?
