AT THE FUORISALONE EVENT WITH CLEOPATRA&ANTONIO
What would the lifestyle of Cleopatra and Antony, their residence and the fusion of two ancient and powerful cultures look like if they were alive today? This question was answered during the Design Week Fuorisalone. In the splendid 'Il Salotto di Milano' venue in Corso Venezia, RG re-editions decorated the rooms of a large luxury apartment conceived for the family of the contemporary alter-egos of Cleopatra & Antonio: Cleopatra, an elegant and cultured Egyptian manager, Antonio a dynamic Italian entrepreneur,and their children, Raya, 17, a sportswoman and environmentalist, and Leo, 12, an introvert and art lover. Beds and chests of drawers, consoles and floor lamps, sofas, armchairs, tables and, to complete the furnishings of this exceptional flat, curtains, chandeliers, statues, vases, benches and cushions have been installed in the home, creating harmonious living spaces.
Greeting our customers from 17th to 30th April, Cleopatra&Antonio was a combined physical and digital event designed to create synergies, thanks also to Metaverse technology.
The Milan Fuorisalone event marked the debut of the Cairo/Milan project and will later be replicated in other countries, first and foremost in Egypt, with the support of an Egyptian partner, the Italian Embassy in Cairo and the Egyptian Embassy in Italy.
