IRENE: DETAILS AND INNOVATION AS A STRATEGIC RESOURCE

IRENE: DETAILS AND INNOVATION AS A STRATEGIC RESOURCE

Where does perfection reside? A question every entrepreneur must ask himself.

Today I am proud to say that our quest for perfection proceeds on many tracks which lead to a successful synthesis.

This newsletter concludes a year of intense research and experimentation.

With my joining the enterprise to work alongside my grandfather, Roberto Giovannini, the man who created the solid and indispensable foundations of this beautiful company, I wanted to strongly emphasise the importance of his original project: to re-edit the artefacts designed by 18th century designers, presenting them intact in their identity and in the superb woodcarving and decoration, the company's identifying feature.

Not random and arbitrary inventions, but a deep respect for period designs, derived from studies and research, from maps and drawings, from archives and testimonies.

A methodology that makes us unique in the classic furniture market for our ability to interpret and realise perfect re-editions.

But, with absolute respect for the past, our work takes place in the present day, in a complex context, where values and trends change rapidly, and requirements and continual demands lead us to question ourselves and provide answers. Answers that must be precise, rapid and continuous.

And so, as you have seen in the twelve newsletters of this past year - the first one is dated July 2021 - we have embarked on an innovative path that, with Cristina Bernacchi's art direction, has developed with material, textile, colour and dimensional combinations, with the inclusion of precious details and technological innovations, told through photographic shootings of a new conception.

We have thus freed classic furniture from the constraint of the finished room and brought it into another dimension, where detail, particulars and overall characteristics make the difference between serial repeaters and Editors like us.

And so my good wishes, thanks again for having followed us so far, and a farewell until the next cycle of newsletters which will report on the next developments from September onwards!
