Gold, an ancient, noble, iconic, regal and symbolic metal.

Used over the millennia only as an element of celebration and beauty in sacred symbols, decorations and jewellery. Shiny and malleable, it is six thousand years old.

In our Re-Editions we use gold leaf.

A gold composed of a golden alloy which, like the pure gold used in centuries gone by, arrives in delicate booklets, reduced to a thin leaf after a number of careful processes, culminating in the hand 'beating' and 're-beating' procedures. And this produces the intangible gold leaf we use to decorate the carvings of our Re-Editions after countless more manual passages with brushes, softer feather brushes and agate stone.
