Illuminating the night. Everything starts with the story of a fire that brings visibility to the night space.
This ancient, static light, which could only move with the person and met a primary need, certainly did not aim to create emotions and atmosphere. 
But then came candles to illuminate the night and the surroundings, to create magical lights and shadows, soft chiaroscuro in houses and workplaces and festive pomp and solemn ornamentation in palaces and cathedrals. 
Making light means modulating light to transform places, expand spaces and above all inspire and create emotions.
And we at Giovannini can do this with our refined and sumptuous pieces which revive baroque ambiences with the sparkling, imposing party chandeliers with forty lights, but which are also able to recreate the soft atmospheres of Flemish paintings, with the candleholders and candle wall fixtures, table lamps  with fabric lampshades and soft dimmed lights.
